Questions & Answer

Q. Why should I hire a professional? Uncle Bill has a camcorder.

A. Most professionals use High-end cameras and equipment which produces superior quality compared to most consumer camcorders. They also use 2 or more cameras which allow for different camera angles. During editing, this gives a more professional look to your video. Striving to make each video better than the last.

A. More important, this is a once in a lifetime Event. You don't want to trust this cherrished moment to uncle Bill and his camcorder. Professionals have the experience, know what to expect and always plan for the unexpected.

Q. Aren't most videographers the same?

A. No most videographers have different styles and use different equipment which can effect the final product. You should choose one that has a style & quality that suites you best.

Q. Should I choose the lowest price?

A. Yes, if you care nothing about your video. Price is always a consideration and must be weighed against the quality of work you are paying for.

Q. How do I know what kind of quality he or she does?

A. Always ask to see a demo. tape, and it should be one that is a full length wedding. Not one that has been prepared from many different weddings. Those are usually the best shots and may not be typical of his or her work.

Q. What type of cameras are used?

A. RSVP uses Broadcast quality low light 3 chip digital cameras.

Q. What about sound?

A. For weddings, We use wireless microphones attached to the groom and minister. This gives us good quality sound of all that is said during the ceremony.

Q. What about camera lights?

A. We use no light during the ceremony. Usually the facilities existing lights are adequate. The reception is a little different. Usually we will use low wattage fill lights to help bring out colors.

Q. What if something happens to my video tape?

A. RSVP will maintain a master copy of your video for 1 year. If your video becomes damaged for any reason, we will replace it at no cost to you. Even if the dog eats it.
